PPN Leadership & Diversity Academy
Our Leadership & Diversity Academy is one of the initiatives that we've designed as part of our suicide prevention program. We believe that by instilling knowledge in individuals on leadership, diversity and LGBTQ issues and handling challenges that arise in these areas, we will build confidence in them and help them foster an appreciation and greater acceptance for who they are.
To accomplish this, we've created an eight week program to cover the three aforementioned topics areas, culminating in a Certificate in Leadership, Diversity and LGBTQ Issues. The program currently accepts college students and is run online and in-person in partnership with Wilmington University. Our program is free for participants.
Below are the topics covered in the program. The program will culminate in our Rainbow Day of Service community service project planned and executed by our students, as we strongly believe in the power of giving back to the community.
