Lamar Myers, born in Titusville Florida, currently works for the District of Columbia Child & Family Services Agency where he assists in providing a safety net to the most vulnerable population of children and youth who are abused and neglected.

Lamar received his Bachelor of Science degree from Florida A&M University (FAMU) in Tallahassee, Florida.  Upon graduation Lamar worked as a paralegal for the Florida Department of Health and interned with Parks & Crump Law Firm, LLC.

Lamar currently resides in Washington DC.  His transition came with the distinguished opportunity to serve as an intern for U.S. Congressman Steve Southerland on Capitol Hill where he aided in constituent services and social media outreach.  Lamar has also served as a special assistant to the General Counsel for the NAACP headquarters in Baltimore, MD.

In his free time, Lamar is an entrepreneur that coordinates social engagement events throughout the DMV.  He currently oversees all logistics and creativity with Incrowd Events, and is producer of a newly hysterical podcast, Laughing with Lamar.
